Listed below are links to most of the animated GIF's that I've created during my 4+ year web designing career. Also included are small captions that describe the history of my animated GIF experience. The list is set up to contain the newest animations near the top, and my oldest GIF's near the bottom. So if you want to view and read the history chronologically, start at the bottom.
Enjoy, and comments are always welcome.
Note: I do allow people to borrow and use my animated GIF's if they ask me first. So please ask me before you take and use any of them.
These are the latest and some of the greatest animated GIF's that I've created. However I really haven't been working on any new animations for quite some time. Still, animations like Walk.gif and Chef.gif are some of the best I've ever done (which isn't saying much).
Floatent_anim.gif - Somewhat new animated button for Ask the Floating Cat.
Dusty_float.gif - Somewhat new version of the Magical, Mystical Floating Cat.
Floating_title.gif - Redirection graphic that used to point to FloatingCat.com from my college site.
C_diver.gif - Coffee diving with a Little Yellow Guy.
Chef.gif - Here an animated Chef seasons and stirs some soup.
Linka.gif - Here a Little Blue Guy is thinking about links.
Andys.gif and Floating.gif - Two old animated buttons that used to be used to link to my old web site.
Hippie.gif - An animated slogan from the hippie era.
These animated GIF's really show some more growth in creating animations. I start using more effects and different motion tricks. Also as a side note, during this period I created more animated GIF's than I had ever created before in such a short period of time. The animations were mostly used in my games such as the Haunted House.
Smashtart.gif - Two sweet tarts smashing against each other.
UFO2.gif - Much better version of the Avocado dropoff at Roswell (UFO.gif).
Lava5.gif and Lava6.gif - More accurate versions of my motion lamps, but not perfect just yet.
These animated GIF's are quite a bit better than the ones I had created earlier. You can tell that I had gained a bit more animation experience. Also you can tell that I started using a common style and color scheme, especially with the Little Yellow Guys in the Grilled Cheese Factory and Little Yellow Guy's Playground.
Train.gif - A Little Yellow Guy and his model train set.
Figman.gif - These guys are what bring our dreams.
YinYang.gif - Here is a quick one that I did in a couple of mintues.
Melon.gif - An ode to Gallagher. Very nice animation.
Explode.gif - Home movies from Avocado Splatfest 97'.
Hypno.gif - A public service announcement from the Avocados are Evil Society.
Alien.gif - This is also video from the Roswell incident. (old version)
UFO.gif - This one is "true" video footage of what happened at Roswell. (old version)
Hatdance.gif - This one was created as a quick button to link to this page.
Worry.gif - "Don't worry...be happy mon!" - an experiment.
Kite.gif - More summertime fun! Still one of my favorites.
Butter.gif - A butterfly hovering near a flower. Really nice looking. Still a nice simple animation.
Peaceguy.gif - Stay mellow with the Little Yellow Guys.
Teeter.gif - Teeter-totter with new-improved, better looking Little Yellow Guys.
Rmorph and RmorphMini - Here are the GIF versions of a morphing movie I did a while back.
Lava3.gif and Lava4.gif - Better motion lamp animations, but still poor.
These animated GIF's are the first batch of animated GIF's that I ever created, which was during my sophomore year in college. The quality isn't really up to par with what I've done since, but I think they are pretty good as examples of my initial experimentation.
Coffee1.gif and Coffee2.gif - From my first attempt at interactivity with a javascript rollover.
Htitle3d.gif - Old homepage logo but 3D! (Really big and slooooow)
Htitle2.gif - My old homepage logo animated from an attempt to animate my entire home page.
