30 Jun 2010I listen to a Transformers podcast called WTF@TFW which is run by some of the guys from the Transformers site, tfw2005.com. TFW is one of my favorite sites that I visit regularly looking for news and toy sightings. Of the group of different TF sites, I prefer TFW. On one of the podcasts I little […]

14 Nov 2006After several weeks of waiting plus a few days of actual work: our house has a new front yard. In place of a completely flat, sparsely covered yard; we now have boulders, a riverbed, and cactus. And we think it looks amazing. We had a local landscaping company, KPW Landscape, do all the work for […]

21 Oct 2006Jessica, her friend Nora, and I took a day trip up north to Sedona. We were looking to photograph the fall colors of the trees while we still could. Unfortunately, the colors weren’t quite what we were looking for with only a few of the leaves being amber and orange. No red to speak of, and […]

7 Aug 2006We woke up this past weekend to see that the pair of texas sage bushes sitting in our front yard had exploded. 30 Jul 2006Jessica and I visited the brand new Cosmo Dog Park in Gilbert, AZ today. The park is located right off of the 202 freeway, and it is a dog park to shame all other dog parks. There is a huge amount of green areas, tons of dog obstacle course activities (steps, tubes), and the dogs […]
I actually did a bit of work this weekend on my upcoming artistic ideas, but I want to save them up for when I “re-launch” the site. Hopefully I’ll speed up with my plans and get more stuff done sooner. I did update my stagnating Photography page with some scripted pages. You can either view […]
We went to the Riparian Institute in Gilbert last Saturday, and I again took the opportunity to take photos. I snapped a couple of Macro photos for this week’s project to boot.
I bought some little Pixelblocks from a local science store and started to create a version of my Floating Cat logo with them. The first batch of blocks didn’t quite complete the project (the tail was unfinished), but with another stop to the store I was able to finish my little transparent sculpture. Surprisingly, the […]
This week I took a single semi-decent photo for the photo project, and I hope that I will put more effort into future attempts. We’ll have to see…
Lots of flower and plant photos this week for the Natural project. Nature photos are always fun to take. I also slightly updated Ask the Floating Cat this week to add animation and a better looking answer system, thanks to the advice of Jessica. Enjoy.
My name is Andrew Green, and I like Transformers, cats and video games.
Quick question, have you asked the Floating Cat today?
