This place is fabulous. More moderately priced than the Melting Pot and since the meat course is thin you don't have to worry about food poisoning! (I have had 3 friends all become incredibly sick after eating at the "other" place). Cool trendy atmosphere and delicious food. What else could you ask for!

I was excited to try Shabu fondue as I have been to the Melting Pot Many times and have made my own fondue on several occasions and wanted to see if the "Mildly priced fondue" was worth it. It was NOT!!!!! Save your money or better yet double it and go to an decent fondue restaurant. The Service was atrocious First, they brought us the wrong Cheese fondue and then trying to convince us that we would love it rather than just fixing the mistake. Second, the Flavor of the cooking style of which there was only one was non-existant. Finally, the Server over charged us for our entry and then disagreed with us when we brought it to his attention. I would never go back to this place and would advise those of you considering it to avoid this place at all costs. If you want fondue spend the extra money and go someplace else.

To those people who has had shabu-shabu before....don't go to this place. First sign of disaster waiting - NO JAPANESE in sight. Absolutely NOT nearly close to what shabu-shabu dining is all about. It is so WESTERNIZED. No noodles, no daikon radish, and the sauces.....it was truly aimed to please the masses without paying any due respect to the Shabu Shabu authenticity. The vegetables were frozen. And what was that they placed on the water before it started to boil? Smelled like italian seasoning to me. The white rice I ate was not even fully cooked. IT was an ultimate disappointment. Saving grace for the visit - our waiter. Everything else......HORRIFIC. No offense - but for the 1st-timers to shabu-shabu, they might find this restaurant cool with all decor and music....but the food was TERRIBLE
